Brigada Eskwela is an annual event led by the Department of Education, where schools, teachers, school heads, students, and the community come together to prepare for the new academic year. This collaborative effort aims to create a welcoming and effective learning environment for students.
This year, the spirit of partnership has been notably demonstrated by the Mandaue City Public Market Vendor’s Multipurpose Cooperative and CLIMBS Life and General Insurance Cooperative. Their joint contribution of solar panels and solar lights to the schools in Mandaue City enhances both the educational environment and sustainable energy practices. This collaboration underscores the impact of working together to address educational and environmental needs.
MAVENCO’s involvement in this collaborative effort aligns seamlessly with the theme of this year’s Brigada Eskwela, “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan.” This theme highlights the essence of mutual support and collective action in building resilient schools. It is through such partnerships and shared commitments that we can create a stronger, more supportive educational environment for our students and ensure a brighter future for our communities.
