The Mandaue City Public Market Vendors Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAVENCO) celebrated another milestone with the grand opening of its new branch on October 18, 2025. The event began with a festive motorcade accompanied by a marching band, followed by a Holy Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. John Paul Tanquis, who offered blessings for MAVENCO’s continued growth and service to the community.

During the program, Board Chairperson Luisita Valdueza delivered the welcome remarks, expressing gratitude to all members, guests, and partners for their steadfast support. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was led by the Board of Directors, together with Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jay Roble and distinguished guests. The event featured an inspirational message from Mr. Saldy E. Balate, who represented CDA Region 7 Regional Director Atty. Cristina H. Villamil. Messages of Support were given by Mr. Eulalio G. Lagapa Jr., Vice President and Head of Cebu North Lending Center, Land Bank of the Philippines; Mr. Emedio Bustillo, Executive Assistant for Cooperative Affairs, City Government of Mandaue; and Mr. Francisco R. Buenavides, SBC Group Head for Visayas, all of whom expressed strong support for MAVENCO’s continued growth and advocacy.

In his heartfelt closing message, Chief Executive Officer Mr. Jay Roble extended his deep appreciation to everyone who contributed to this milestone and reaffirmed MAVENCO’s commitment to its members and community. The new branch stands as a symbol of progress and dedication. MAVENCO is now ready to serve with greater passion, integrity, and purpose.
