This significant gathering served as a platform to align goals, share best practices, and reinforce the role of cooperatives in promoting financial literacy among young Filipinos and integrate it to the curriculum in the Department of Education.<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was an honor for the cooperatives specially us MAVENCO to receive the full support of the Department of Education, whose representatives actively participated in the discussions and listened to the impact of the program on the education system. Participating cooperatives presented their programs and services, highlighting how these initiatives have contributed to developing students\u2019 savings habits and financial awareness. Through these reports, DepEd recognized the growing need to institutionalize financial literacy in Philippine schools and acknowledged the vital role of cooperatives in shaping responsible and financially literate learners. The department expressed appreciation for cooperatives best practices, particularly in effectively teaching children the value of saving at an early age.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">This strategic plan is a collaborative effort that calls for immediate implementation to further improve the lives of young Filipinos and help build a better and more financially responsible nation.
